"D-- Ooh! Blasted -- rghh!" A spark made contact with the moronic core's humanly, yet still not very much so, digits. It caused a slight intrusion of his controls and kept his avatar paralyzed for a few minor picoseconds. Once regaining himself, his eye twitched. He grasped onto a few wires that managed to cut loose - which was no surprise after the chaos he caused - and squinted his eyes. "Alright, alright, think that's funny, eh? Bit lucky that I wouldn't tear you out loose if this bloody avatar had more improvements!" His voice echoed throughout the barren, dark halls of the laboratories. Hopefully She hadn't heard. Speaking of maddening

the woman, Chell, as she is known as, stepped through a portal. But, something happened. She was ported to Wheatley's home. She looked around and noticed the unrecognisable man. "Oh, terribly sorry." She said, closing her eyes. She said it deeply, as if she were... angry. Well, the tone was deep whatever. Chell's eyes opened and she looked over to him. She could feel something odd in her heart... as if, she knew this man once from the past.

((*Causally drops a crappy starter*))

The area was empty. As a general rule of thumb, when traveling through the rift, empty rooms and buildings were generally some of the worst places to find oneself in. It wasn't possible to judge where you may be and what may be waiting for you outside from an empty room. It was a rule of thumb that was the exact opposite of the feelings that the mage held towards empty rooms on her own dimension. She did like quiet places to think.

Ruby rose to her feet. Of course the portal had moved. Dimensional portals always move about. However, according to the Professor's device, it was sill in the building. The girl took a moment to straighten her hoodie out before making her way down the hallway. If there was something to tell her what this place was, at least, that would be a bit of a relief. The wall beside her sported a logo and a word that was printed in large letters. "APERTURE". Well, wasn't that nice? And fairly useless. "Nuts," she grumbled to herself.

(I'm just gonna leave a little thing before
i go off for the night if that's alright-
Also uh, i'mma assume the RP will be with the human avatar so-

Sorry ahead of time if this's a lame starter,
i just wanted to type a little thing for you before bed-)

"You appear to be humanoid in appearance
but scans say you're something else.
    Explain?"
[ Just going to... drop this here xD ]

This place was unlike any the Windranger had been in before. It must have taken thousands-- No, millions of blacksmiths to help construct such a vast facility made almost entirely of metal. It was kind of a waste, really. All of it could've been put to good use in the making of armor and weapons. She walked along a seemingly endless hallway, her bow drawn back and at the ready. There was no telling what strange creatures may dwell here, though she was confident that she could take down any and all of them if need be. Her main concern was finding a way out of this strange realm.
[ shh child, it's all fine by me. no need to fret! : D though i might have to ask if you prefer wheatley in his core form or in his human avatar. i've no preference, but what do you prefer? c: i'll leave this response sort of ambiguous -- ]

Were those .. footsteps? Actual footsteps that rarely echoed this desolate laboratory? The source of those footsteps meant they weren't Her, oh no. That crazed robotic tester wasn't able to walk, but it may have been the girl with the portal gun. Oh, bless her for finally coming around. In truth, he did miss the mute test subject - despite her selfish personality. "Hello?" He asked with his voice kept somewhat low in case She heard. "He-- Hello? Anybody around?" He proceeded through the hallways until reaching an intersection with another hallway. His gaze shifted to see a figure farther down - a positive sign, he inferred while making his way to the figure. "Hello! Oh, God! Such a relief to see you. Boy, I'll tell you--" he stopped midstatement when he noticed how somewhat different this human appeared, "Uh -- wait, hang on a moment.. Oooh, this is, um, pretty awkward. Actually mistook you for someone else, heh. -- Wait.. who are you? And how did you get in here?"
[ Mmm,  I don't mind either one. But for the sake of the Windranger, would his human avatar be alright? She's already thoroughly confused as is. xD ]

The ground was odd. It was hard as steel, yet almost slippery like ice. It was also very noisy, and would make a clanking sort of sound with each footfall which would've been quiet on a forest floor. The environment, or lack thereof, was alien to her and she just as alien to it. There was no moss, no grass, no trees, no dirt, no mud... and no sunshine. Just strange, unearthly bulbs of light that seemed to have been powered by some form of magic she did not understand. The Windranger then heard a voice, and instantly raised her bow and turned to the direction of the source. She couldn't make out the figure, but she knew someone or... something, was there. "Tell me what this place is and who you are, then I will answer."
"Wh-- Hang on, hang on just.. just one moment!" Wheatley requested while he stopped in his tracks. As he fiddled around with some controls inside of the avatar he had yet to grow accustom to, he eventually found the proper control to illuminate his blue-tinctured eyes. That was when he noticed just how different and unfamiliar this human was, even the object she held differed from what he was usually surrounded with. It nearly made him jump, honestly. "Ga-- Oh, for God's.." He let out what resembled a sigh, all while attempting to regain his composure. As streams of questions were about to form, he recalled the woman's request. "Sure, uh, right. Because that'd be fair when clearly I.. er, was the first to ask-- but.. anyway. You don't know one bit of where you are, eh? Well you definitely gave yourself the least fantastic ending to your, human life, that much I could tell you. This is Aperture Labs. Was a great running area til.. all this rubbish happened. Erm, you may call me Wheatley. Now," he cleared his throat, "I believe it's your turn to, uh.. tell me who you are."

[ ah alright! it's fine by me. and ofc their universes are seriously opposite from one another. xD ]
